Bangladesh's gross foreign exchange reserves have crossed the $33 billion mark, according to the Bangladesh Bank.
Confirming the matter to the media, central bank spokesperson Arief Hossain Khan said the country's gross reserves stood at $33.01 billion today (2 July), up from $32.90 billion on 30 June.
The increase comes as Bangladesh continues efforts to strengthen its external sector through higher remittance inflows, export earnings and other foreign currency receipts.
