Merino breaks deadlock as Spain edge ahead of Portugal

Spain finally broke the deadlock against Portugal as Mikel Merino struck in the extra time of the second half to give La Roja a 1-0 lead in their Fifa World Cup round-of-16 clash at Dallas Stadium in Arlington tonight (7 July, Bangladesh time).
