The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today (5 July) arrested another member of the notorious teen gang 'Bhoira-De', Md Parvez, 28, during a raid in Dhaka's Mirpur area.

RAB-4 Media Officer Nurangir Nahid confirmed the detention, stating that a team of RAB-4 arrested him from Mirpur-12 Avenue-5 early today and sent him to the concerned police station for legal action.

Nahid said a court had issued an arrest warrant against Parvez in a case filed with Pallabi Police Station. He also faces two cases related to robbery, mugging and extortion filed with Pallabi and Mirpur police stations.

According to RAB, members of the "Bhoira-De" gang had been instilling fear in the area by circulating videos on social media in recent months, mainly over internal disputes and efforts to establish dominance within the group.

Earlier, on 17 June, RAB-4 arrested four members of the gang, including Tan Akash and Iman, in a separate operation. Parvez is the fifth member of the group to be arrested in the recent crackdown.
