A fire broke out at approximately 1:46pm today (4 July) on the third floor of a shop located in a five-storey building at Khaja Market, Ashik Tower, in the Chawkbazar area of the capital.
Two units from the Lalbagh Fire Station immediately rushed to the scene and began efforts to control the blaze.
To assist in firefighting operations, an additional four units from the Siddique Bazar Fire Station have also been dispatched to the location.
