Riyadh Air, the new national airline of Saudi Arabia, has begun selling tickets for its upcoming daily direct flights between Dhaka and Riyadh, with operations set to commence on 7 August.
The new route will link Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) and King Khalid International Airport (RUH), with flights operated by the airline's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, according to a press release issued by the carrier today (9 July).
Under the published schedule, flight RX0763 will depart Riyadh at 9:20pm and land in Dhaka at 6:10am the following day. The return service, RX0764, will leave Dhaka at 7:40am and arrive in Riyadh at 10:55am, with all timings based on local time.
The airline said the launch is a key milestone in expanding its international network and underscores the importance of Bangladesh as a growing aviation market in South Asia.
Riyadh Air said the daily service is designed to meet rising demand for travel between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia while further strengthening the longstanding economic and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
In addition to direct access to the Saudi capital, the airline said the route will enable passengers from Bangladesh to connect seamlessly to destinations across the Middle East and Europe through Riyadh Air's growing network and codeshare agreements.
The carrier added that improved connectivity is expected to facilitate business travel, tourism and educational exchanges while positioning Riyadh as an emerging regional transit hub.
Tickets are now available through the Riyadh Air website, mobile app, and authorised travel agencies.
Travellers can also enrol in the airline's Sfeer loyalty programme, which offers benefits including complimentary onboard Wi-Fi, reward points from the first journey and a "Best Offer Guarantee".
The Dhaka service is part of Riyadh Air's expansion plans aimed at supporting Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 strategy to transform Riyadh into a leading global aviation gateway.
