US President Donald Trump said during an event marking the 250th anniversary of US independence that he had not received a Nobel Peace Prize despite what he described as his diplomatic achievements.
Addressing supporters at the celebration, Trump highlighted his foreign policy record and ongoing diplomatic efforts. He said, "I've settled eight wars, still no Nobel."
The remarks were made as Trump discussed his role in international affairs and efforts he said contributed to resolving conflicts. The comments drew applause from the audience, says First Post.
