Highlights:
Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon today (14 July) expressed regret in parliament over his recent personal remarks on HSC examinees, saying he had not intended to hurt anyone.
"If anyone has been hurt by my personal remarks, I express my regret. I did not make those comments to hurt anyone," the minister said.
He made the statement after the Maghrib prayer break, before placing the Bogura University Bill, 2026 in parliament.
The minister also proposed that the postponed Physics, Logic and Accounting examinations under the Chattogram Education Board could be rescheduled in a way that allows the Physics examination to be held on the same day as the Physics examination for the other education boards.
He said the proposal came in light of the objections raised over the Physics examination.
